RSA Authenticator (SecurID) App Bewertungen

Leider kann man nicht ohne Zuhilfenahme des Unternehmens wo man sich anmelden will, sein Token registrieren. Meine Kunden braten keine Extrawurst für iPhone-nutzende Freiberufler....

Funktioniert wie erwartet.

Von Windows auf Linux umgestiegen. Da kein Client für Linux zur verfügung steht, habe ich mal geguckt was die iOS App kann. Import des tokens wie versprochen mit einem Klick. Funktioniert wunderbar. 5 Sterne dafür.

Funktioniert soweit, aber auf dem iPhone 5 nur mit hässlichen Balken.

Wird von Partnerfirmen nicht als Alternative zu RSA SecurID Token akzeptiert. Weiterhin ist diese App nicht für iPhone 5 ausgelegt (schwarzer Trauerbalken) und sieht optisch ziemlich gewöhnungsbedürftig aus. Jedenfalls nicht professionell!

Es funktioniert und ist nicht hübsch. Bei neuem Design gibts auch 5 Sterne.

Funktioniert und tut das, was es soll. Aber Master Pin nicht möglich. Design total daneben und nicht für das iphone 5 optimiert.

Keine Firma sollte ein APP mit der letzten Aktualisierung im Jahr 2011 im APP-Store haben. Darüber hinaus voll funktionsfähig.

Die App sieht aus wie aus den 80ern... Seit 2011 nicht mehr aktualisiert...

Endlich iOS 7 optimiert, wurde auch langsam zeit. Läuft alles wie gewohnt flüssig und zuverlässig. Auch toll dass man jetzt mehrere Tokens verwalten kann!

Leider dreht die App sich seit heute nicht mehr. Ärgerlich, wenn man sein Gerät zur Eingabe immer drehen muss, wenn man gerade quer arbeitet.

Hallo, gute Umsetzung des Designs und vielen Dank für die Aufnahme meiner Kritik (Lesbarkeit) App gefällt mir so richtig gut :-) Habe sogar das Gefül die App läuft schneller :-)

Ich hätte erwartet, dass es diese app auch im Querformat gibt. Ich nutze ein ipad mit Bluetooth Tastatur und muß jedesmal den Kopf querhalten, um den Token ablesen zu können.

App just randomly kicked me out and lost all my info causing me to do a ton of setup work again with no notice

App is providing fake codes. Tried to use for work with correct pin many times. Used a fake pin and still got an 8 digit code. The system at work rejected these codes from this app. No star is deserved at all.

Why does any half-decent feature get removed? When my phone is barely out of reach I’d use iPhone mirroring to access it. Now I can’t even do that thanks to the developers.

I’m lucky to have passkeys enabled at my company. So nice to have this option and be able to manage my passkeys independently from the Apple platform.

whoever designed the algorithm for the passcode should be fired. How is W0F2 a good code? On the phone I have to switch keyboards 2 times and use shift for something that is already a waste of my time. Why not all numbers? Why not all letters lowercase? Why force the user to switch keyboards and press shift when I have to sign into 20 apps every morning this tedium is mind numbing

This app is terrible. It’s unreliable, the UX is sloppy at best, terrible support, and not even very secure. Stop using this product everybody! There are better solutions out there!

Works great. Please bring Apple Watch support! Grabbing my phone to generate OTP can be devastating to flow state (concentration).

Please create a “dark mode” version of this app icon

Can you guys show a little more of love to the app? The app icon is ugly and it doesn’t work with the new iOS 18 feature of having dark icons

App works as expected, but it is annoying to unlock my phone, search for the app, re-enter my password and then get my code. When I need to use the app frequently, it interrupts my flow and can cause me to become distracted by something on my phone. Having an optional widget that you can add to the Lock Screen and get your token without needing to unlock my phone and search through my apps would be so convenient

Time is so precious. Should automatically advance after code use. I can’t afford to have to sit and wait for next code when I have over 60 scripts everyday to fill.

The app works well enough but WHY does it still generate a token when your PIN is entered incorrectly?? This is very frustrating for troubleshooting account lockouts.

Add ability as a time sensitive alert. When phone is in do not disturb mode, you don’t see push notifications come thru. Allow feature for time sensitive alerts which would always allow the push notification to come thru even when on dnd.

Is there anyway to enhance Apple Watch notifications so users can do code matching right from their Apple Watch? Previously I was able to authenticate by tapping “approve” but ever since my organization switched to “code matching”, I can no longer authenticate from my Apple Watch. I have to use my phone. I’d be willing to update this review to 5 stars if the devs are able to get that implemented :) Additionally I notice a slight delay at times when waiting for the challenge to show on my phone, up to 20 seconds at times. It doesn’t seem like long but when you’re sitting at a login screen waiting for that push notification to come through so you can get in, it feels like it takes longer than it should. This only happens about 10% of the time. At first I figured it might’ve been the work WiFi, but I’ve experience this over mobile data & other WiFi’s as well.

It doesn’t offer a method to backup the RSA and transfer to the new device.

The app is intuitive and seems to function fine. Unless I'm missing something, however, the Cloud Authentication Portal allows for 30 identity sources, or domains in my case, but this app only allows for a maximum of 10 CAS credentials. How can I protect 30 domains with MFA when the app maxes out 20 shy?

No import for STDT

I used to be able to authenticate using my Apple Watch or from the Lock Screen of my phone. Since the “upgrade”, this is no longer possible. I have also had more RADIUS challenge failures. Given how often I have to authenticate in order to access multiple different platforms, this is a major flaw. Please fix!

Is terrible about sending authentication notification. I often have to spam it on desktop to get a notification to show up. Been this way for years. Seems to be a bigger problem when I am authenticating on my phone from cell signal instead of office wifi.

I've used the app for years at work and it does the job but I would love to be able to pull it up on my watch. Thank you!

On my Mac it tells me that it imported my token successfully, but it never shows it so I can never use it. The list is always completely empty. I don't understand why this very particular type of software always has to be so astonishingly terrible. I despise using this.

Most useless app ever. It still gives you a token if you type your pin wrong. You only find out after the token doesn't work when you enter it.

I can't believe BMO uses this app for getting into your software. It is the worse app

I can get into the app with any PIN. I setup one through work but it is not required to get in. However from our work test page the app value only works there if the correct PIN was used to get into the app. Very odd. It scares me even having this app on my phone.

So apparently there’s a known problem with the app that will result in an initialization error and force quit doesn’t work so you’re only choice is to reset the app and thus have to request a new token. RSA thinks they fixed that issue in 4.3.3 but they have not. Very annoying to have to request new tokens every day

My RSA app icon logo updated automatically (rsa font with green check mark). It looks extremely dated / ugly. I have to use this app daily and have it sit on my main iPhone screen. Please have a designer update the icon logo to be more modern and visually appealing. Thank you.

Today I accessed the app as normal but received a pop-up stating that there was an error with the app and it needed to be force-quit. The two buttons presented were something like “Done” and then one called “Reset App”. Both the normal action blue. Well, seeing as I was just told the app needs reset to work, of course I click reset app. What happens? Of course, just as I wanted, the app quits and loads again and everything’s good, right? NO! RSA kindly put a button called “Reset App” that completely erased all of my token info. No bold, red letters, no confirmation screen, nothing! So instead of just gracefully recovering by killing the app for me, they assume that I, a person who has never experienced this “out of sync” error, will correctly want to completely unregister my corporate RSA token to fix the issue. Talk about a one-star User Experience… now I get to spend 5 minutes writing this review and 30 minutes requesting a new RSA token!

The difference of app icons is casing issues at my job on the help desk. Now it’s the RSa with a green check mark but here it’s still the white cloud with the blue check mark.

Not intuitive and not helpful. Not pleasant to use. Thank you for making this app but consider making it amazing to use

It would be great to have the option to use Face ID instead of having to put the pin every single time you need a code…. Is so annoying.

The new application icon looks like it was designed by a six year old. That really fosters confidence in our users who access highly secure systems using MFA from RSA using an application whose GUI looks like it was thrown together in 5 minutes.

The App on an iPad Pro is just blank. If you push the button to turn in landscape, the number shows up. That took months to accidentally stumble upon. Guys….. fix the app on the iPad Pro. Y’all should be testing this on every supported device before release!

Can’t get my token to work doesn’t work with iPhone 15 pro

Can’t add a token from a QR. works fine from a URL. Rebrand to Authenticator? Are you mad. There is already the Microsoft one using that name for years in the icon title. Call it RSA Authenticator so we can actually find it. Then hire a 10 year old to redesign the icon - because clearly the adult you gave that task to has zero design skills

New build 4.3.2 is crap. It keeps giving error initializing authenticator app.

i just got my new iphone 15 pro and every time i try to activate a token using qr code or url it says invalid token. I try the same thing with ios 16.0.2 and it works fine there. please fix this problem in ios 17. thanks

The app is currently broken and unable to import new tokens.

Thanks for renaming the app. Now, if I search for the “RSA” app on my phone, please ensure it finds the RSA app!
